never NOT reblogging this. When people say this, they’re implying that a mans natural state is ‘rapist’ - that when they see a woman, they must CONTROL themselves so they don’t rape them - as if they have no control over themselves because they’re some sort of sexual beast.

Quite frankly, I think if I were a man, I would be insulted by the idea that my natural state is rapist and that I have to work against it. So saying ‘her clothing provoked me’ is just as insulting to the legions of men who AREN’T rapists as it is to women.
Why don’t we just say up front that rapists are rapists and they are the only ones who cause rape? Also, that they are the only ones stupid enough to believe that it is someone else’s fault.
